Kilcoole Primary School wins the 9 a-side Blitz

Kilcoole Primary School won the Primary Schools 9-a-side Blitz 2011. They had narrow wins against Scoil Chualann and Rathdrum in their group games. In the semi-final they overcame St. Brigid's Greystones. Scoil Chualann defeated Glenealy in the other semi-final. The Panel of 9 played all the games and fought hard to secure victory in the Final! Playing were: Sara, Jade, Shannon, Caitlin, Lauryn, Lucy, Ruth, Sarah and Holly. Kilcoole also fielded a second team of younger players who were getting their first taste of competitive action - well done to them too! won the Primary Schools 9-a-side Blitz today. Primary Schools Activity Day
 
A group of 20 girls from 3rd and 4th Classes in St Brigid's GNS took part in the Primary Schools Activity Day in Aughrim recently. It was organised by Jenny Duffy, Development Officer for South Leinster. Everybody had a great time and thanks to Ms O'Neill for bringing them.


County Indoor Camogie

Well done to the girls of St. Brigid's GNS who participated in the County Indoor Camogie Finals in Arklow last Friday. They all had a great time and played excellent camogie, congratulations to Coolfancy winners of the tournament.


County Indoor Camogie

Well Done to the Girls of St Brigid's GNS! who qualified for the County Finals of the Indoor Camogie Tournament.
They won their matches in the semi-finals v. Ashford, St Patrick's and Annacurra. The County Finals will take place next Friday in Arklow Leisure Centre.
Players were: Amy McLoughlin, Erin McDyer, Sarah Gammell, Sara Hamdona, Leanne Carlin Hannon, Niamh Short, Chelsey Humphries, Chantelle Kangly, Lauren Smyth, Orla McLoughlin.
 


County Indoor Camogie

Good Luck to the Girls of St Brigid's GNS in the County Indoor Tournament semi-finals on Friday morning in Roundwood.
 


Well done to Colaiste Chraobh Abhann on the Senior Camogie team's performance against Colaiste Bhrid Carnew recently. For their first time in a full sided game and against such talented opposition, they did extremely well.
